To all of my Sacred Seers,
If I haven’t learned anything else through the many twists and turns of life’s ups and downs, it’s to choose your village wisely. We often look at people as good or bad, but that isn’t necessarily the best way to view things. You can have good people around you who don’t align with your life. They don’t see what you see or understand you in your fullness, not because they don’t want to, but because they are unable to. Sink into your spiritual realm and seek out those who look like you, speak like you, and are aligned and in sync with you. This saves you from unnecessary heartbreak and unavoidable trauma as you navigate your way through life.
It is better to have a few who provide a safe space for you to land and dwell in than to be surrounded by many where you must keep your spiritual eye on a swivel because you are in spaces and among people who don’t value the sacredness of your spiritual being. This doesn’t necessarily mean you need to cut people off, unless it is detrimental to your spiritual well-being, but instead, adjust accordingly. Allow people, places, and things to operate at the level in which they dwell.
For example, you may have a person who is truly good but isn’t spiritually aware, at least not yet. (Everyone moves according to their own life path and pace.) This person may be someone you enjoy sharing tea, visiting a museum, or having lighthearted conversations with, but not for the deeper, grounded aspects of yourself. Observe where the energy radiates brightly and where it starts to disconnect and grow dim, this is your clue to the boundaries of that relationship.
Every relationship and environment has set perimeters. It is up to you to ensure you operate within them so that things don’t bleed into spaces they were never meant to occupy. For nothing is truly ours. We are here to move freely and flow, to enjoy, and once that is complete, to let go gracefully. Know that anything meant to return for future engagement will do so naturally, without push or pull, without control, without manipulation.
To know that whatever is, is meant to be, and whatever is to come will find its way. This is what true freedom is.
