Depending on who you talk to, using stones as a part of a spiritual practice can be considered taboo. As some scoff at the fact that people really use stones as a meaningful part of their lives, I say to those people, move out of my way with that negative energy. Also, I tend to hang around people who either align with my beliefs or at the very least, respect them. So with that being said, let’s discuss one of my favorite stones, Carnelian. Because after all, if you are reading this, you are a part of a community where it is safe to hold some of mother earths most beautiful stones, near and dear to your heart, and I’m right there with you.

Carnelian, with its warm, vibrant hues of orange and red, is a stone of passion, action, and vitality, known for its ability to ignite creativity and enhance motivation. Because of this, whenever I am having a creative block or a need to draw closer to my creative talent, I tend to be drawn to this stone as it reminds me of who I am as a creative person and helps me navigate my way back to my creative space.
