Worrying about how we are going to handle certain pressing issues in our lives can consume our thoughts and distract us from actually working out a solution. Looking at the overall picture can be very overwhelming; it’s OK not to have the answers to every situation that pops up in your thoughts.  The only answer you really need to your problems is to have peace. I know, I know, it’s a bit cliché, but before you dismiss this, think about it. When you have peace, you feel that one way or another, it will work out. That’s what peace does; it tells your mind and body that everything will be alright. So what happens if you don’t feel that way now? Well why don’t you? Are you trying to do everything that you possible can?  If so, then get rid of the negative internal conversation. I know someone who couldn’t find a job and found one…in the next state over. Yep, you read right, he drives one hour each way for his new job. Now does anyone desire this, probably not, but it is an answer to a problem. Now he is making great money because he was open to other possibilities. He stopped looking at what wasn’t available to him where he was, and opened himself up to what was available to him period! You have to have a certain level of peace to do that.  Have peace with the fact that you don’t have all the answers. Have peace with the fact that everything doesn’t go as planned. Have peace with the fact that you can’t control everything and make it BE what you want it to be. It’s all a journey, either you can sit on the side of the road and look at what you don’t have or what you can’t do, or you can get up and start working on what you have presently in front of you. You can’t find your open door until you start walking down a path. You can’t open a door of opportunity until you reach out to grab it. You can’t embrace a new opportunity until you let go of all the negative things that didn’t work out. You have to be at peace with your past in order to move on and keep trying. Sometimes you don’t get all the answers at once, just the ones you need right now. Trust the process, commit to the process, and enjoy the journey…smile
