I think I’ve finally figured out this thing called deliverance. I actually didn’t realize that I didn’t know what it was until I heard my Pastor speak about it at church one day. I would give God praise for delivering me out of something or from someone time and time again. To only later on get frustrated at why I was always going through the same vicious cycle, never actually seeing the manifestation of God’s promises in my life. After listening to the sermon that morning I realized that I had blocked God from moving any further. The word says in Matthew 9:29 “According to your faith, let it be to you.” My faith was limited, it was a get me out of this and I will be grateful, kind of faith. God’s true deliverance is never for us to be happy with just coming out of something and then staying stagnant in that position until the next issue arises. No, He wants to deliver us out of circumstances and situations in order to move us into a higher level. See that’s what I was missing, the moving into. For every deliverance there is a reason and a purpose for it that is used to catapult us into the next level. From now on when you pray to be delivered out of something, remember to ask God to deliver you Out Of and then Into.
